We picked Erin Lanza to sell our home in Big Bear Lake, CA late last spring and she was outstanding. Before choosing a real estate agent, we did a lot of research to see who the best choice would be based on the investment they make into selling the property (time and effort, not necessarily financially) and how they promote their listings. After talking to other agents Erin stood out as knowing the Big Bear market well. She was also very enthusiastic about investing her time and energy into making sure the sale process would be pleasant and successful. The Big Bear Real Estate team stood out as the best Big Bear has to offer: their organic rankings are excellent (meaning people find listings on their site easily), their social media presence was strong, and we could tell they put a lot of work into their listings. We spoke with Erin and then met with her at our home. She spent time answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were a little concerned that our cabin would be potentially slow to sell, because of its age but Erin ensured us not to worry and thought it would potentially sell fast, because it was vintage and in a great location being in lower Moonridge. She also made the process incredibly easy and took the extra steps many other Realtors probably wouldn’t do like being flexible and patient with little changes in our initial timeline, having very professional photographs taken, and writing up a very nice overview of our property. When we saw our listing, we were blown away. Her hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home in Big Bear really paid off – our listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition of similar cabins. After about 2 weeks on the market, we had our first offer at the asking price, which ultimately fell through, because of buyer financing but Erin was very confident that a new buyer would be in the cards shortly. Our house went under contract only 2 days after the first offer fell through and we again got the asking price, which we gladly accepted. Erin and her team were so incredibly helpful walking us through every step of the closing process. We would have been completely lost without her help, because we were busy doing finishing touches on the house, especially busy at work, and getting ready for our big move to Idaho. It was difficult keeping up with what we needed to get done on our end of the process and Erin kept on us to get those things done but was also very patient with us, which we greatly appreciated. It couldn’t have been a more pleasant experience. We no longer live in the Big Bear area, but we will recommend Erin Lanza to everyone we know. She’s a true professional and a genuinely nice person. We realize it won’t always be this easy to sell your home, but think you’d be hard pressed to find a better Realtor.
