Fawnskin

Fawnskin is an unincorporated mountain resort community located on the north shore of Big Bear Lake surrounded by National Forest. It sits at an elevation of 6,750 feet at the north end of Grout Bay and is bordered by Big Bear City to its east. Directly across the lake is the incorporated City of Big Bear Lake. Many homes in Fawnskin have spectacular lake and mountain views. Fawnskin is considered by many to be on “the quiet side” of the lake. Many forest service “government lease” cabins are located in Fawnskin. Fawnskin is home to the Big Bear Discovery Center, Grout Bay Picnic Area, and Captain John’s Marina.

Fawnskin includes the MLS subareas “Gen” Fawnskin, Fawnskin East and Fawnskin West.
