A Celtic Christmas – December 4
After captivating audiences around the world, the all-singing, all-dancing, family-friendly treat, ‘A Celtic Christmas by A Taste of Ireland’ is set to tour the United States! Watch two star-crossed lovers twirl beneath the mistletoe as award-winning Irish musicians complement the world’s best Irish Dancers to deliver an exciting mix of traditional tunes, heartfelt ballads, carols and red-hot rhythms in an unforgettable night of Irish charm. Monday from 7:30 PM – 9:20 PM at the Big Bear Performing Arts Center located at 39707 Big Bear Blvd.
Grand Menorah Lighting & Chanukah Celebration – December 7
Chabad of Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear hosts the second Menorah Lighting and Chanukah Celebration in The Village. The City of Big Bear Lake Mayor and Council members will be present and everyone is invited to enjoy the festivities including Latkes, Donuts, festive music and much more! The fun begins at 4:30 PM and the menorah lighting will take place at 5 PM. Free to the public.
Santa Comes to Summit – December 2 & 16
Head to Snow Summit and take your free photo with Jolly St. Nick. 11AM to 3PM. Located at 880 Summit Blvd.
Big Bear Christkindlmarkt – December 16
Big Bear’s original Christkindlmarkt returns featuring last minute holiday shopping, live entertainment, games and activities, a Wishing Tree, and photo opps with St. Nick and Christkindl. This year’s event not only includes the enchantment of a small town Christmas faire, but as the sun goes down, a night of rockin’ 80’s starts up. Nicholas Nacht will feature 80’s band Sunglasses At Night, indoor snowball fights, sausage hockey, and an ugly sweater contest with cash prizes. Located at Big Bear Convention Center at 42900 Big Bear Blvd.
The Nutcracker – December 16 & 17
The Moonridge School of Dance presents The Nutcracker at the Performing Arts Center. This holiday favorite showcases the students of the Moonridge School of Dance.
A Ghost Story of Christmas – December 21 – 23
The Unique Presentation of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens; Presented by One Actor Alone – Steve Cassling at the Big Bear Lake Performing Arts Center.
Renaissance Rock Orchestra’s Christmas Rocks – December 22
